Looking after your set, between visits
Cuticle oil daily
The single best thing you can do for any nail system. Keeps the gel flexible and the nail bed soft.
Gloves for cleaning
Acetone, bleach, and harsh detergents will dull and weaken any system over time.
Don't pick or peel
If a corner lifts, book a quick fix rather than pulling. Picking lifts the surface of the natural nail.
Mind hot water & impact
Long hot showers soften gel; impact can crack acrylic. Warm is fine, careful is better.
Come in for proper removal
Filing or peeling at home is the single most common cause of damage we see. Soak-off is $15–$20.
Things you might be wondering
We strongly recommend booking — Saturdays, school holidays and the lead-up to weddings or end-of-year functions book out a week or more ahead. Walk-ins are welcome when there's availability; the fastest route in is to book on Fresha or call 03 8838 8836.
Adiva is inside Burwood One Shopping Centre at Shop G41. Free undercover parking is available across the centre — the Burwood Highway and Middleborough Road entrances are closest to our shop.
Yes — children are welcome with a parent present. For under-twelves we recommend a Cut, Shape & Polish ($15 fingers, $25 toes) or Manicure & Polish ($25). The chemicals in gel and dip systems aren't recommended for very young nails, but regular polish is fine.
Yes. Tell us before we start. The most common sensitivities are to acetone (used at soak-off) and to acrylic monomer odour — for either, we can adjust your service. Pregnant clients often prefer to avoid acrylic and stick with Shellac, builder gel or SNS, all of which we'd be happy to recommend.
EFTPOS, Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay and cash. A 1.5% card surcharge applies to credit-card payments; debit and tap-to-pay are surcharge-free. We don't accept American Express.
Five minutes early is plenty for most services. For combination appointments (manicure + pedicure, or any service paired with lashes) please arrive ten minutes early so we can settle you in without rushing.
Absolutely — we encourage it. Save reference photos to your phone or a Pinterest board and show your technician at the start of the appointment. For intricate freehand art we may quote a price on the day; we'll always tell you before we start.
Yes — gift cards are available in any denomination from $20 upwards via Fresha or in store. Digital cards are emailed instantly; physical cards can be printed in the salon.
